Fairy Baby Doll by Forest Creature

Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame!
— William Butler Yeats

When I think fairy doll I think of a character in the ballet The Nutcracker - Sugar Plum Fairy. Except my Sugar Plum Fairy has wings. What does your fairy look like?

What am I about to share with you is Fairy Baby Doll - designed and handcrafted by Joti Marra Ramsey. She is the creator to Forest Creature. Her character of the Fairy Baby Dolls are so cute, an unusual fairy dolls. Something I wouldn't be able to imagine. This is the reason why I like to blog about different handmade artists.

The doll was shipped from North Carolina. It arrived in a wrapped tissue paper with a handwritten notes. Makes me feel very special! Don't we all need a little reminder that we are special?

The softy that I received is made of moss green colored wool felt hair and ears, a multi colored chevron cotton body, a star embroidered forehead, a pinkish cheek, and a crochet tie around her neck.

Height: 13 inch tall (2 pens and a quarter tall)
Price:  $60

It's very soft, easy to hold and easy to carry around.

One thing, I wouldn't recommend this softy for children under age 5. As the fabric is a little fragile for young kids.

A special note to the artist, add your company label to the softy. A good reminder where this softy came from.

Overall, I'm satisfied with this handmade softy. Please note these are my opinions.
